Odd Nosdam, real name David Madson is a visual artist, DJ, record producer and member of the Anticon hip hop collective. He was one of the founding members of the groundbreaking Clouddead, he was the art director for the Anticon label for five plus years, and he's been an audio-advisor for a good chunk of albums on that label (including work by Sole, Jel, Sage Francis, Why? and others). Odd Nosdam's musical style is heavily influenced by ambient soundscapes, 70's dub, late 80's/early 90's hip hop production as well as indie rock. Most of his early works were released initially only on a limited number of hand-made cassettes and distributed entirely through the internet and tape trading. Level Live Wires is his last album, released in August 2007.

Odd Nosdam - untitled one

On track 1 (untitled one) of "Burner" (Anticon, 2005) the interaction with the men at the beginning is from a documentary called Titicut Follies directed by Frederick Wiseman. The one man is a mental patient at a hospital and the other is a staffer bringing him to a shower.
